ATOM was a fledgling company when I started the brand design. They had an existing logo, but weren’t happy with its somewhat clunky aesthetic. My approach to the brand design was a “less is more” ideal. After some experimentation, the final logo design was decidedly minimal and modern in style. A second, Hangul version of the logo was also designed in the same modern style. The English and Korean versions are used interchangeably.
For the website design, I went with a modern fullscreen homepage focused on displaying and grouping products for easy access. ATOM’s product database is moderate in size, covering many styles and categories, so it made sense to add custom taxonomies for added sorting functionality.
In keeping with the clean brand, content organization was key. The homepage fits key product groupings – new arrivals, best sellers, top rated products, sale products, and featured products – without overwhelming or confusing the viewer.
For pre-launch, we designed ATOM’s business cards, in-store signage, and outdoor signage/billboard. The cards feature double sided designs with multiple model photos to add interest.
