Rerun’s clever designs integrate salvaged parts from computers, musical instruments, antique doodads, space shuttle parts, and much more. Rerun also uses eco-friendly methods in creating their signature lamp shades, which consist of handmade paper from banana tree leaves and vegetable dyes.
I’ve worked with Rerun since 2006, having revamped their website a number of times since then. This latest iteration consists of an ultra-minimal, modern design that showcases Rerun’s work and allows for easy contact and purchase.
Although Rerun’s pioneer and designer, Steve Bewley, isn’t one for braggadocio, I sneaked in a list of Rerun’s celeb customers, which includes the likes of Kevin Spacey, Sandra Bullock, Kelly LeBrock, and Herb Alpert, among others.
A Woocommerce store is also in the works.
Steve likes sleek, modern, dark print items, and I was happy to oblige when designing the business cards. Thick, black card stock makes for a bold impression, and a stamped logo and text add a level of visual impact and tactility.
The stationery incorporates natural kraft paper, appropriate for the organic nature of Rerun’s designs.
In keeping with with Rerun’s eco-friendly practices, both the business cards and stationery were printed on recycled paper stock.
